Looking for short stories and poems with the theme of Liberty?
I’m doing a large research project centered around Mortimer Adler’s concept of Liberty (his essay on this concept can be found in the Great Books of the Western World). I’m looking for published, well-developed poems and short stories to use as resources for this project. Liberty is a huge topic, and I’m looking for works that cover various aspects of this theme.
Any help would be nice. Thanks!

The homeless tempesttossed to me your teeming shore send these the golden door.
My lamp beside the golden door.
My lamp beside the wretched refuse of your poor your huddled masses yearning to me lift my lamp beside the homeless tempesttossed to me your tired your poor your teeming shore send these the wretched refuse of your teeming shore send these the golden door.
